Bernardo Bellotto was an Italian urban landscape painter, also known as Canaletto the Younger, as he was the nephew and a student of Canaletto. He is best known for his detailed vedute, or city views, of European cities like Dresden, Vienna, and Warsaw, which are prized for their accuracy and artistic merit.
