Charles Marion Russell, also known as C.M. Russell, was an American artist of the Old American West. He created more than 2,000 paintings, sculptures, and illustrations, depicting cowboys, Native Americans, and landscapes of the Western United States, capturing the spirit and drama of the frontier era.
