Franz Stuck was a German Symbolist painter, sculptor, printmaker, and architect. He is best known for his allegorical and mythological paintings, and was also a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich, where he influenced artists like Wassily Kandinsky and Paul Klee.
