Prepare your surface with a light tan or beige tone to mimic the aged paper.
Lightly sketch the outline of the mountain, paying attention to its overall shape and proportions.
Begin with a very diluted ink wash to establish the lightest values on the mountain.
Gradually build up darker values using multiple layers of ink wash, allowing each layer to dry before applying the next.
Use a drier brush with more concentrated ink to define the darker areas of the mountain, such as the peaks and crevices.
Add the calligraphy using a fine brush and black ink, carefully copying the original text or creating your own.
Include the red seal marks with a small brush and red ink.
Allow the painting to dry completely.
