Sketch a light circle for the sun and the basic shape of the tree.
Block in the background with a muted brown color.
Paint the yellow circle, varying the intensity for depth.
Add the tree trunk and branches with a dark gray or black, using a thin brush.
Apply textured strokes of gray around the sun to represent the foliage.
Add small dabs of yellow on top of the gray foliage to create highlights.
Refine the details of the branches and foliage, adding more texture.
Add the signature in the bottom right corner.
