Sir Francis Bernard Dicksee, known as Frank Dicksee, was an English Victorian painter and illustrator, best known for his depictions of dramatic historical and legendary scenes. He was a leading figure in the later Romantic movement, known for his idealized portrayals of beauty and chivalry.
