Andrés de Santa MarÃa was a Colombian painter and diplomat, considered one of the most important figures in the development of Impressionism in Colombia. He is known for his landscapes, portraits, and genre scenes, often capturing the light and atmosphere of his surroundings with loose brushstrokes and vibrant colors.
