approach — 7 steps

  1. step 01

    Lightly sketch the basic shapes of the building facade, including the three levels and the curved base.

  2. step 02

    Block in the large areas of color: blue for the building, red for the base and horizontal lines.

  3. step 03

    Paint the window shapes with white, then fill in the dark areas inside the windows with black.

  4. step 04

    Add the details of the window frames and the small white circle.

  5. step 05

    Use visible brushstrokes to add texture and variation to the blue and red areas.

  6. step 06

    Outline the curved base with a black line.

  7. step 07

    Add any final touches or corrections.
