Sketch the basic shapes: horizon line, sailboat, doorway, and sun.
Apply a base layer of blue for the sky and sea, varying the shades slightly.
Paint the sun with a warm yellow, blending it outwards with reds and purples.
Add the golden reflections on the water using short, broken strokes.
Paint the sailboat with ochre and brown, highlighting with gold.
Create the doorway with white, adding subtle shadows for depth.
Add the statue on top of the doorway, simplifying its form.
Add small details and highlights to complete the painting.
