    Lightly sketch the basic shapes of the figures and robes, paying attention to proportions.

    Establish the main areas of light and shadow with a light wash of diluted blue.

  3. step 03

    Gradually build up the darker values in the folds of the fabric.

  4. step 04

    Mix the skin tones and apply them to the faces and hands.

  5. step 05

    Add the details of the ornamental designs on the robes with a fine brush.

  6. step 06

    Create the ground plane with a wash of brown and ochre.

  7. step 07

    Refine the details and add highlights to create depth and dimension.

  8. step 08

    Add final touches and adjust values as needed.
